Multimedium–User Manual (Tagging–Manage Tabs section)

The utility and usage of  Tagging (Manage Tags) section of Multimedium is explained as follows.

1. Basic Function

In this section the user can combine data from different imported data files.  For combining data a common link between the data files is required.  The count of records of the data files can also be obtained from this functionality.

2. Operating Instructions

The usage of this screen is explained in the below mentioned steps.

Step 1:

(i) Click on Tagging —Manage Tags—Map-Get Data. The screen will appear as follows.

Step 2:

(i) Click on Tagging —Manage Tags—Map-Get Data—Preview. The screens will appear as follows.

The red button signifies the join between the tables.

The combined data between the tables are displayed based on the join and the columns selected.

This combined data is stored in a sql table.

This result can be saved by giving a name to the tag tile and pressing on the save tagging button.

Step 3:

(i) Click on Tagging —Manage Tags—Count—Get Data. The screen will appear as follows.

Different colours are used to select the columns for which the user requires a count.

In case a common color is used for two similar named columns (SKU_Code) then the system will combine the count of  those columns for displaying the resultant. (Refer to screen of step 4)

    For calculating the count a join between the tables is not required.

Step 4:

(i) Click on Tagging —à Manage Tags—Count—Get Data—Preview. The screen will appear as follows.

The count of the selected columns of tables is displayed.

This result can be saved by giving a name to the tag tile and pressing on the save tagging button.
