Multimedium–User Manual (Scoring–Configuration Section)

The utility and usage of Scoring (Configuration) section of Multimedium is explained as follows.

1. Basic Function

In this section the user can assign a score to column values of a table. This score can be used for further grouping of data in the create group section of the system. Based on this scoring the user can customize the reports.

2. Operating Instructions

The usage of this screen is explained in the below mentioned steps.

Step 1:  (i) Click on Scoring —Configuration, the screen will appear as follows.

Step 2:(i)   Click on Add New command button to access the following screen.

(ii)  Select the Data Source value from the drop down box.

(iii) Select the Table Name value from the drop down box.

(iv) Select the Aggregate Column Name from the drop down box.

Aggregate column is the column by which you need to sum up the data.

(v) Select the Column Name value from the drop down box. This column on which scores will be applied.

(vi) Enter the Score Title.

(vii)Enter the Score.

Tick the check box next to the column name to select the displayed entries.

Click on assign score button.

The system will display a success message of assignment.

This option can be used to assign a common score to a group of column values.

(OR)

Enter the scores at the row level.

Tick the check box next to the column name to select the displayed entries.

Click on assign selected button.

The system will display a success message of assignment.

This option can be used to assign scores according to the varying column values.

Step 3:(i) Click on Apply Score command button to apply these scores on each row of the selected table.

(ii) The system will display a success message as displayed on the below screen.

Step 4:(i) To modify the score for a created configuration list, search for the required list.

(As displayed in the screen below.)

(ii) Click on Manage to access the screen displayed in step 5.

(iii) Use the delete button to delete the configuration list from the system.

Step 5:(i) On clicking on Manage the system will allow the user to modify the score for the created score list as                                    follows.

(ii)Modify the score as required.

(iii) Save the changes either by clicking on assign score or assign selected command button.

Step 6: (i) Click on Apply Score command button to apply the modified scores on each row of the selected

table.

(ii) The system will display a success message as displayed on the below screen.
